North America has a huge amount of natural gas. The government should create subsidies or incentives to increase the
incentive for adoption of this technology. The reduced cost to 18 wheelers through natural gas subsidies, for them, should also reduce the costs of products in North America due to lower cost of goods in North America, and
therefore benefiting the North American economy. Given the fact that 18
wheelers are also major air polluters, the impact on the environment and
health would also be
a very good one.

Reverse Ethanol legislation and increase Wheat production incentives
- Cost of Living
North America is referred to as the bread basket of the world. The Ethanol legislation created the food shortage world wide and drastically increased food costs to the US middle class
. Therefore the cost of living for the middle class got increased. By reversing the
ethanol legislation and increasing incentives for wheat production the food costs for the middle class
should be reduced, giving them more money to spend on other products. Many would argue the benefits of
ethanol under current gas prices or under any circumstances, but the effect it has had on food costs, the food shortage, and the economy are pretty clear.
The benefits would be not only to the US economy but to the global
economy and middle class as well. The impact of ethanol legislation has
been disastrous to the US economy and to the environment, killing or
destroying over shore fishing grounds.
Clean Coal - Unlimited Electricity - Leads to and keeps the Fusion Power
Infrastructure (Hydrogen Power)
North America is the Saudi Arabia of coal. The US presently uses coal to
generate 50% of it's electricity so it's in the US best interest to
improve this technology. Coal is also greatly used globally and especial in China, and this will probably continue to increase, so improving this technology also has a global benefit and big impact on the environment.
With what can be considered an unlimited amount of coal, that can be
used to create an unlimited amount of electricity, you can drive an
economy like nothing else can. The electricity it creates can be used to
power industries, factories, electric cars, homes, home heating, and
create hydrogen for hydrogen engines and cars. There are different clean
coal technologies with the leading one having CO2 stored underground in
former oil or other sealed formations. If the CO2 does escape these
formations that have contained oil for millions of years, according to a
US geologist, the CO2 smears on the sand and cannot escape. The existing
infrastructure that will be created, and added to the old one, for the electricity and hydrogen
will continue to be used by the next electricity creating technology
currently being developed and tested in Europe, Fusion Power.
In other words, by using clean coal technology to capture the CO2 emissions at the source
and centralized location, the clean coal power plants, and using it's electricity to
heat homes, power electric cars and produce hydrogen for hydrogen cars, and therefore eliminating the CO2 emissions from cars
and these sources as well, you can eliminate CO2 emissions
and eliminate the CO2 emissions at a speed that nothing else can. Clean coal technology is not a fantasy,
it's very real and it's potential is to eliminate CO2 emissions at a
level and speed that nothing else compares to, is also very real and
realistic. It is presently being tested by several countries. As stated
above, the US is the Saudi Arabia of coal with an estimated supply of
300 years and the use of coal will continue world wide as well. It is a
fantasy to believe that anything else has the same potential and the
same realistic potential to solve and reverse the energy and CO2
emissions problem world wide. The only other technology that presently
has the same potential is the power of the sun, fusion power, which is
also currently being created, tested, and can replace clean coal and all
other energy sources. (see the videos)
As for the CO2 that is to be stored under ground by one clean coal technology, there
maybe other or new uses for the CO2 that is captured at these
centralized sources. In the field of nanotechnology, for
example, there has
been research to artificially create photosynthesis, like plants do,
that could possible be used to use the CO2.
One reason why I do not like wind turbines - dead eagles
The wind turbine industry has been trying to cover up the fact that wind turbines will probably cause the extinction of some birds of prey.
In the US it could be it's national emblem, the bald eagle. Thousand of birds of prey and eagles have been killed and are being killed by wind turbines.
In California alone thousands of Golden eagles have been killed and a new project will be built in the Bald Eagles habitat soon.
Another strange fact is that one wind turbine manufacture has named it's
self the Eagle wind turbine, so if you search for information on wind
turbine eagle deaths, what you get is information on one of their wind turbines instead.
