Hybrid Gas Cars use the present oil consuming infrastructure but at a greatly reduced cost and requirement
of gas. Hybrid Hydrogen Fuel Cells and Hydrogen liquid cars do not require gas but require an alternative power source such as electricity to

Coal Power Centralized Electric Power Plants or Hydrogen
There is enough coal to last 200-300 years at present consumption. Even if the supply of coal were to end in a 100 years, there would still be more than enough time to improve the existing Fusion Power technology. Coal burning produces sulfur and like gas, carbon dioxide also. But unlike gas the emissions are centralized to a power plant and not to millions of different cars. Technology exists to capture or prevent the emissions of coal burning plants
and therefore making them green energy. Countries like China will also continue to burn coal. Countries should combine their efforts to implement these technologies and improve their efficiencies. Burning coal is safe and does not endanger nearby populations. Burning coal does not produce a deadly byproduct that lasts for thousands of years like
nuclear fission used by Nuclear Power plants. It does not require the displacement of populations and flooding like Hydro Power. Scientist also claim that Hydro Power produces carbon dioxide amounts that are comparable to fossil fuel burning power because of the decaying vegetation in the flooded areas.
Solar Power Centralized Electric Power Plants
Solar Power plants can generate electricity for hundred thousands of homes. Different models exist. One is where mirrors heat a central tower to produce mechanical electricity.
Nanotechnology has increased the potential of this technology many times over by making it more efficient and less costly then older solar panels. A paint has been created that can be applied to anything including a home.
Solar Concentrators "The MIT solar concentrator involves a mixture of two or more dyes painted onto a pane of glass or plastic." Focusing the light like this increases the electrical power generated by each solar cell "by a factor of 40".
Fusion Power (Sun) Centralized Electric Power Plants
A fusion Power plant has been built. It uses the technology that our Sun uses in our solar system to create heat and light. This technology has the potential and most probably will make many other energy sources obsolete.
Fusion Power Plants make Nuclear Power Plants absolute and prevents
nuclear proliferation.
Trains High Speed Electric Trains
High speed trains have been in use in Japan and Europe for many years now. Trains should be used to connect major cities and urban areas to cities to reduce oil consumption and cost of travel. This would also create an alternative to air travel that also requires
expensive fuel. Fewer vehicles on the road also reduce traffic which is another waste of gas and carbon dioxide
contributor. It would also save time and man hours. Less time in traffic means more time for the person
to be productive. Train travel creates productivity opportunities for people who use wireless laptops. Reduced travel costs and productivity opportunities promotes economic growth. The shipping of goods through this system could also reduce the price of domestic goods and promote
economic domestic growth. The construction of this system creates jobs and economic growth.
Energy Power Saving Systems and Measures (Implementation or Required)
An example of this is large commercial buildings that are vacant at
night and another is the air conditioning and heating systems. Other
power saving measures are timers and legislation of light bulbs that use 75% less power.
Government Action
Government action is required to help car makers update their production capabilities of hybrid cars. This will greatly reduce oil consumption.
Many car makers are unable to update their production capacities of these cars because of the costs, the building of these car making factories.
This will also create domestic jobs and promote economic growth. It's better to spend to create jobs and promote growth then to bail out banks because
people are losing their jobs and unable to pay their mortgages.
Updating the Coal Power Plant technology and continued improvement of the Fusion Power Plant should be made a priority.
The implementation of High Speed Train System will also create jobs and economic growth.
In order for an economy to flourish capitalism is required, but
leadership and intervention is also required. What has happened is that
Government has let big business and power lead the way and their motives
are about more power and profit and not about what is good for our
society, our environment, our health, or our economy. And of course this
power plays a role in government parties reelecting themselves.

Food Items and Ethanol
Wheat (bread) is a main staple of the middle class and lower income
families. The impact or effect of Ethanol on the middle class and price of gas is insignificant when
compared to the effect it has on food items. Ethanol legislation should be reversed. Wheat growth should be encouraged with
incentives to drive down the cost of food items such as bread. This will effect the Domestic Economy and world wide food supply
(shortage and cost). Other countries and governments have restricted the export of food items such as rice, another important food staple,
and may also reverse their actions due to the effect of having a larger food supply world wide. (food shortage and economic
instability)
The Ethanol legislation has also effected wheat growers in Canada. Measures should also be put in place to protect the wheat growers (farmers) from the effect of the intervention and
driving down these food items. Once stability is restored, Capitalistic Economics, that were
unbalanced and disrupted by the Ethanol legislation, can be returned.
If possible, reserves of wheat should be released to the US domestic Economy and for Domestic use.
The use of Ethanol is also linked to the continued use of Oil.

hamburger buns, pizza, pet food, and many more products). restaurants.
The Deficits and the US Dollar
The Deficits are what has caused this Economic crisis and the tax cuts should also be reversed. The continued growth of the US debt
continues to effect currency speculation and the fall of the US dollar.
This has reduced the purchasing power of the US middle class. Investors have been losing confidence in the US dollar and the US
ability to address these issues. There are no measures to insure that the gains and profit from the tax cuts
mostly aimed at the wealthy, are reinvested into the US Economy instead of foreign Economies.
The tax cuts should be reversed and instead tax breaks and credits should be implemented for direct investment into the US Economy, Job creation,
Infrastructure improvement and Capabilities.
This will result in Growth for the US economy, build confidence in the US economy and dollar, and the growth will
attract foreign investments.
Hybrid Cars and Vehicles
More incentives should be given for the purchase of Hybrid cars and vehicles. Examples are tax breaks or credits, trade-in value for high gas consuming cars,
green or emissions rebates for these kinds of cars. Incentives should be given to car makers who wish to upgrade their production capabilities in the US of
Hybrid cars creating jobs in the US and increasing growth and making the US a world leader in Hybrid cars and vehicles. The sooner these measures are taken
the sooner the benefits of lower Oil consumption by cars and vehicles and lower emissions of green house gas (carbon dioxide).
Clean Coal and Wood Burning
Immediate action should be taken to increase and implement the Electric Coal burning and Clean Coal technologies.
Coal burning provides 50% of the Electricity in America. Immediate
action should be taken to increase the wood burning supply in the US
from the US and Canada regardless of positive or negative Oil price
fluctuations. The winter season is coming and homes can also
use Wood and Electricity to heat
their homes and reduce Oil consumption. This should make Oil supplies more available to those who do not have alternatives and for other uses.
There are other heating products.
Environment
The short term impact of Coal and Wood burning is not high compared to the impact
and effect it could have on the Economy at the present time (Economic
Crisis) and it's
future capabilities to implement the new technologies that will
eliminate carbon dioxide emission drastically or completely.
It is possible that an attempt has been made to intentionally harm the
US Economy, US government, US people, and world Economy to prevent the
US from doing exactly this. The elimination of fossil fuel emissions and
Oil use or reduction (The Economic Policies and Paulson's US Government
"Back Stop"). The US Economy is also important for it's ability
to defend it's self. Canada
The Canadian Economy is linked and integrated with the US Economy. The Ethanol legislation has also effected Wheat growers in Canada.
Efforts could be combined for the Wheat and Wood burning solutions. For example the Canadian government would also have to protect the Wheat growers
from the increased supply of Wheat and driving down the price of Wheat.

carbon dioxide is stored under ground. The US is rich in Coal resources
(The Saudi Arabia of Coal). This would eliminate a huge portion of

reduce the trade imbalance, money going to foreign countries (Oil
producers), by over 333 Billion dollars and keep this money in the US
